  • Our client, a personal German Tour Operator in Cape Town, wishes to employ a German speaking Tour Consultant to join their enthusiastic team. The company specialises in cycling, hiking and adventure trips within South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland, Uganda, Tanzania and Madagascar.

    Responsibilities:
    • Liaise with international clients and travel agencies via email and telephone
    • Process request from FIT/ individual travelers and group inquiries
    • Quoting, booking & invoicing of restaurants and accommodation
    • Liaising with suppliers (transport, accommodation etc.)
    • Prepare detailed travel itineraries
    Requirements:
    • Fluent in German and English (reading, writing, speaking)
    • Tertiary qualification in tourism or equivalent (advantageous)
    • Work experience as tour consultant or similar role
    • Proven experience with international customers, coordinating and organising
    • Good organisational and planning skills
